Dumpster Rental Prices in Waco: What Affects the Cost?

By EZ Junk Haul

When you are planning a project in Waco — a home renovation, a roof replacement, or a major cleanout — one of the first questions is how much it costs to rent a dumpster. The answer depends on a few straightforward factors, and understanding them helps you budget accurately and avoid surprises.

Factor #1: Dumpster Size

The size of the dumpster is the biggest factor in your rental cost. A larger dumpster costs more because it holds more debris and requires more capacity at the disposal facility. The 15 yard holds about 5 pickup truck loads and works well for medium-sized projects; the 20 yard holds about 7 and is our most popular size for larger jobs.

Choosing the right size up front saves money. If you order a 15 yard and it fills before the job is done, you may need a second haul, which costs more than starting with the 20 yard.

Factor #2: Rental Duration

How long you keep the dumpster affects your total cost. EZ Junk Haul offers flexible rental periods for both short-term projects like a weekend cleanout and longer-term work like a multi-week renovation. If you need to extend, just let us know and we will work with you on fair pricing.

Factor #3: Type of Debris

Not all waste weighs the same. General household junk and construction debris like drywall and wood are lighter than concrete, roofing shingles, or dirt. Heavier loads may incur additional disposal fees because landfills charge by weight. Let us know what you are throwing away so we can give you an accurate price.

Factor #4: Delivery Location

We serve all of Waco and the surrounding Central Texas communities, including Bellmead, Woodway, Hewitt, Robinson, Lorena, Temple, Belton, Troy, China Spring, McGregor, and Valley Mills. Delivery within our standard service area is typically included in your quote. Locations farther out may have a small additional delivery charge.

Why EZ Junk Haul's Pricing Is Different

  • One clear price, quoted before the dumpster arrives
  • Delivery and pickup included — no separate charges
  • A set weight allowance so you know how much you can load without extra fees
  • No surprise surcharges — we tell you upfront if anything might affect your cost

How to Get the Best Price

  1. Describe your project when you call so we can recommend the right size
  2. Know what is going in the dumpster — heavy materials affect pricing differently than light debris
  3. Plan your timeline so you need fewer rental days
